Sweep floors daily to keep the grit from removing the shine. Mop with vinegar and water and dry with clean cloths. Use acrylic wax to protect your floors between cleanings.

Start with a clean floor, so vacuum well. Scrub the floor with warm, soapy water and a brush, to get dirt out of crevices. After floor is clean, put down a layer of wax. After that dries, put another layer down. Now whatever spills will wipe up with a cloth.
