Hang Fusia plant in window with direct sunlight. Keep plant moist and use spray bottle to mist the plant daily. Use humidifier to keep home slightly humid. Keep the temperature around the plant at 68 degrees F during the day and in low 50's during the night.

Fuchsia are generally treated as annuals. They need bright, indirect light, high humidity, moist soil, monthly dilute feedings of water soluble fertilizer, and screening for mites and white fly.

One would start the winterizing process by bringing the plants inside your house. Next place the plant in a dark place such as a basement and cut back the watering.

A fusia plant does not keep blooming during the winter, because they need real for that. So you only have to keep them alive during the winter. The best way to do that is to put them into dormancy or on a dark, cool place in your house. First spray the plant carefully with water.
