Place the toolbox where you want it secured. Most put it at the front of the truck bed. If your truck does not have a bed liner, use pads to cover the bed rails. Insert rubber plugs into pre-drilled holes in toolbox. Then, insert bolts from beneath bed rail into toolbox, place washer on, then apply nut and tighen.

In order to install a truck tool box, you need the proper tools as well as any necessary brackets and screws needed to connect the tool box to the truck. The brackets are usually sold separately. Put the toold box onto the truck and connect the bracket to the toold box, screwing in place.
