In order to install the Sim card, you will first have to remove the battery cover, then remove the battery itself. Now you can see the SIM slot. Slide the SIM in this slot. for detailed instructions, check your phone's manual.

For installing the sim card in a 1730 motorola phone,first we should power off ,then remove the battery.At the bottom of the battery,there is a sim card holder.A thin plastic latch is visible in the sim card holder,in this latch , fit the sim card.slide the simcard into the holder and make sure that latch is covering the simcard.replace back battery&panel.

First you will have to remove the battery from your phone and then you will be able to see a slot where you can insert the Sim card you have.
