Depending on what color you want to highlight it, for a cost effective way is to go to a store (like walmart) and buy the kits they usually run $6-$10.00 and they have step by step instructions on how to do it. I would recommend having a friend help you. Its easier get the back of your head done.

Separte the sections of hair you wish to highlight from the rest of you hair with foil and apply bleach with 20-30 volume developer.

I think this hair style will draw people's much attention in the sun since it will shine.Or some hair is black, then they can make obvious contrast.
