The mango fruit tree is always propagated by grafting. If grown from seed, the tree will probably not produce fruit. Seeds will sprout in any seed starting mix (you can also add use rooting hormones) in a small pot in a shady spot. Place in larger pots as it grows.

I first recommend a good quality soil to plant the seed. I would use a small pot most plant nursery carry paper type small starter pots. After the seed spouts you will need to transfer into a bigger pot. Do not forget to water the soil will need to be moist. Make sure you give it indirect light too.

Remove seed from fruit, Dry it out, split husk and remove seed. With toothpicks in sides of seeds suspend seed into water until it sprouts. Put in soil; warm area.
