You should follow the directions that the unit comes with. If you do not feel comfortable installing it then you may want to ask the company you purchased it from if they can install it and how much it would cost or contact a licensed professional and have them install it. If installed incorrectly it could cause a fire.

First, make certain you shut off the breaker to the unit. Remove the old thermostat, and label all wires so that they're put back on correctly. Attach the new thermostat.

It's really easy just order a replacement part from wherever you can. Just get one from ebay if you have to. And then you just install it and voila your done.

Read the instructions on the replacement thermostat and make sure you install the correct color coded wire to the correct terminal. There are several color combinations that may work with each terminal so be sure they are matched up correctly and tightened.
