The best substance to use for removing ink from leather is alcohol. Isopropol alcohol (rubbing alcohol) is best. First test the alcohol in an inconspicuous area for color fastness. Simply wet a cotton cloth or cotton ball with alcohol and rub gently until ink is removed. After removing the ink, it is best to treat the leather with a softener.

Hair spray works great for removing ink stains. Spray a clean white soft cloth with hair spray, and dob the ink stain. Change to a new clean place in the cloth and spray again, repeating this process until the mark has disappeared. Be sure to keep changing the cloth so that you don't reapply the ink.

By using Spray Nine found in mainly in the vehicle isle can insure to remove ink from leather. Make sure to use gloves as it can hurt your hands.

Use Vinegar and a pinch of cooking salt and some lime juice mix all apply it on the surface wait for 2 mins then wash

Rubbing alcohol is what you want to use. Take a cotton ball or a cotton swab and dip it in the alcohol. Rub it on the ink stains applying gentle pressure. You may have to repeat a few times if the ink is heavy.

Using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, just scrub at it for awhile and wipe away any excess water. Keep it up for about thirty minutes and you will see al lthe pen marks starting to fade. It takes some time but it will work after awhile. same thing happened to me!

I recently learned that straight up ethanol or isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alc) will remove ink, and this can be used on your couch. I have used it on other cars w/leather seats to remove pen stains, and it didn't damage the seat at all.

tricky but dupont sells a chemical that will easily get ink out of a sofa most furniture stores sell some type of this product
