Linking two computers can be done several ways. The simplest assumes that the two computers are on the same network. If they are, all that needs to be done is to follow the Windows Networking Wizard. The process can vary widely based on which operating system you're using so you will have to follow the Wizard closely.

One way would be to by a router and 2 network cords, hook everything up and then you could share the data. Another way would be to use a site like usendit to send files to on the 1 computer and download on the other

Well usually you need a router to allow the two two network however you could link them with a single Ethernet cable but it might be harder with out a router to allow them to communicate. Each OS may act differently so look for a tutorial for yours online.
