You can get flea powder and it will take care of some of the problem. But fleas can often be taken care of by simply washing.

The best I have ever found is old fashioned fly strips, though they aren't "aesthetically pleasing". They just work the best, as well as good window screens, keeping food covered, and protecting pets- dogs and horses can suffer terribly from fly-strikes- protect them by using a product like Wipe.

Natural alternatives are healthier for indoor pests. Clear baggies of water hung at entryways works wonders. Flypaper or flytraps hung where the little pests hang out is handy. Keep inside and outside of home garbage-free. If you have pets, keep pet areas clean. A small amount of Clorox added to water cleans and helps eliminate pests.

Clean up or scrub totally the infected area. After cleaning/scrubbing the infected area spray an insecticide, I'm sure they will probably die on the spot. Lastly Put down bug traps, For the bugs that missed your killing process. They might fall for your trap after a few hrs. This traps contains a sticky surface that they will surely fall for.
