There are several ways you can get rid of the geese in your yard. You can train your dog to go after them when they land. You can have a sound system installed that periodically makes gun shot noises or predator noises that will scare off the geese. You can trap them and transfer them to another location.

Gees love to eat grass and can be a nuisance creating a lot of mess. A well trained dog can be used to chase geese from your yard and with some persistence the geese will probably begin to move to a different area. Alternatively the geese can be scared by a human but this is time consuming.

The main thing about discouraging animals is the make the area uncomfortable for them. Some ways to do this is to install motion sensor sprinklers or lights that activate when they fly in. The best feedback I have gotten is when people use fox or coyote silhouettes place around the yard. Just remember to move them occasionally.
