A basic treatment for a ailment such as this is a general and broad spectrum of antibiotics to prevent infection, swelling and general pain. You might also consider using Icy-hot pads, a wonderful item for it's cost, and consider visiting a doctor for a follow up should the pain-levels increase.

There are many over the counter products that you can try. Some may work, while others may not. If it is a stuborn wart that won't go away you may need to get it removed by a dermatologist.

The best way, particularly for a wart located on the sole of your foot, is to let a doctor remove it. If you can't do that, however, the freeze treatments that are available over the counter are fairly safe and effective.

Crush some aspirins, add a few drops of water to make a paste. Rub the paste on the wart and wrap it with tape or bandages. repeat until the wart is gone. You can also do this same method with sea salt.
