How do you get physical custody of a child?

Is there non-physical custody?

You either have to agree where the child will live or you will have to prove you are the better choice. For example, your job allows you to be there more with the child. In join custody there is a non-physical parent that still has a right to make decisions just as much as the parent the child lives with.

Phyiscal custody means that the child is living permanently with one of the parents. The other parent is usually granted visition rights. Phyiscal custody is usually granted to a parent after a divorce, if the other parent is somehow deemed unfit for parenting in court.
