If they are not compatible when connected directly by USB, you may just have to send the files onto your computer and then onto your iPod. XBox doesn't have a way to open the cache files on your ipods for which it is hard to load them if you don't have access to the inner files of the pod.

Connect your iPod's USB cable to any controller port. Go to the Media area of the Xbox dashboard to select or create a playlist.

You'll need a flash drive. My husband transfers all his movies from he flashdrive to his computer and vice versa. XBox will know the new device and it will show all your downloads. Load your MP3s onto your flash drive, transfer it back to your computer and hook your ipod to your computer, completing the transfer stage.

Unfortunately with out a computer this is impossible. If you have a PC you need to network the xbox to it then add the files into Itunes.

To the best of my knowledge it is easier to transfer songs from your Ipod to the X box than the other way around.
