How do you get a key fob code for a '96 Camaro?

You can either go to a dealer and buy one or buy one online and pay to have them program it. Sometimes you can program it yourself though.

Key fobs are part of the Vehicle Anti Theft System (VATS) and require special codes from the manufacturer to replace them. Your local Chevrolet dealer will have access to these codes and will be able to set it for you if you can prove your ownership.
