How do you flush the power steering system?

To flush power steering, use either a syringe or gear oil pump to remove used fluid from the holding tank. Fill the tank with new fluid between the low and high marks on the dipstick and replace the cap. Startup the car and let it run for several minutes. Repeat steps until you've put about 2 quarts through the system.

Detach and Disconnect overflow tank and reservoir's hose respectively,Replace reservoir's hose with another hose,Add new power steering fluid.Now add the new lubricant,it will force the old lubricant into the tube.
