Small scratches can be polished out with a compound or scratch removers. Follow the instruction on the bottle and be careful. Work in small areas and don't overheat the paint. Then seal afterwards with a quality wax.

Two ideas: 1)Touch up paint can be purchased in nail-polish like bottles at the dealership in the exact tint of your vehicle's paint. 2)For shallow, surface scratches, try using a liquid polish. Be careful to follow the instructions, as polish will literally remove a small layer of your paint.

If the scratches are deep enough to catch a finger nail when ran over them then you probably need to have professionally removed. Otherwise they should be light enough so that you can get rid of them yourself. Try buying a kit that includes all the necessary abrasives and polishes for the job and follow the directions provided.

The best thing to do is to write down your VIN number and go to Auto Zone and look at the book for the scratch paints and match it up.

Well for light scratch you will need to carefully buff it using a high quality polishing compound and a high speed buffer with a polishing bonnet.

go out to your local auto parts store and find some polish, not compound. Take a soft terry cloth towel and rub the scratches gently in circles till the scratches either lighten or go away. You can also try using an orbital buffer with the same polish and it will be easier then hand rubbing

Small scratches can be buffed out while deeper ones may require sanding first. Either look online or purchase a paint detailing book to get a description of the entire process. Be careful though because you can permanently damage your paint.
