How do you fix a manual car window that won't roll up?

Check the operation of the crank and the connection to the mechanism. Mechanism look like scissor shaped. If any one part is damaged entire window pulley system should be replaced.

If window doesn't drop, get it rolled up by having someone grab window on both sides and pull up while you crank. Disassembling the door requires smart friend or book.

Well if it is the crack stripped replace it. If the regulator is broken the door panel will have to be remove so a new regulator can be installed. It is pretty easy but the gas has to be remove and installed in the new track and adjusted.
