The diameter of a circle can be found by running a straight line from one side to the other directly through the center, or by multiplying the radius by 2. It can also be found by dividing the circumference by pi; the circumference is 2 time pi time the radius.

To find the diameter of a circle accurately you need a ruler. Draw a line across the circle or lay something top of it. Now you slide the ruler over the line in a right angle. When you start at one of the edges and slide it until the distance no longer increases, now your measuring the diameter.
