Public records are free and easy. They show court records, fines, tickets, etc. There are also websites, that may ask you for a fee or membership, but are accurate.

First thing, u should check how he was raised. Just let him invite u to his house and then look what examples his parents gave him.

If you use the internet much, there are many places that, for a fee, will search someones backgroundand give you alot of information. I dont know of anything that if free as far as the internet goes. You can also ask some people about this person where he works or some friends or old girlfriends.
