You want to "bind off" (abbreviated as BO). Search "binding off" in order to find different methods for doing this, as there are several and they all look different.

A popular way to end a knitted scarf is to put a fringe on it. Take two strands of yarn eight inches long. Fold the yarn in half and insert it into one stitch along the edge of the scarf. Pull the yarn through forming a loop and then pull the ends of the yarn through that loop and tighten.

The prettiest ending would be to add a fringe. Cut many lengths of yarn the same size and use a crochet hook to pull five strands at a time through along the edge. Repeat at other end.
