How do you enable regedit?

Click Start and select run. Type regedit and click Ok. If this does not work do the following. Click Start -> Run -> gpedit.msc -> User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Prevent access to registry editing tools -> Right Click Properties -> untick the box 'Disable'.

Regedit is enabled by default on any Windows system with Administrator rights. To start regedit, just click the start menu, then "Run...", enter "regedit" in the box and hit enter. If it's disabled, you will have to get with whomever is in control of the security policy on the machine.
