How do you do sex identification in turtles?

The easiest way to tell the sex of a turtle is to look at the underside of the tail. If the opening is near the tip of the tail, the turtle is probably male. If the opening is close to the body, the turtle is most likely female. Also, a concave plastron usually indicates a male.

Very tricky! It really does depend on the type of turtle, but, generally, fairly good indications that your pet is a male rather than a lady are long toenails and an indented shell.
