Remove wheel, remove brake caliperand tie off to a side, disconnect lower control arm from steering knuckle, then take off the nut that attaches the cv shaft.

You have to jack the car up, take the tires off of the car, unplug all sensors, unbolt the rear axle (I've only done a rear axle), take the axle out, put the new one in place, and bolt it in place. You may have to play with the sensors.

Start by removing the hub cap. Then remove the tire. You will want to remove the disc brake assembly completely. Some people just let it dangle by the brake line do not do this you will have problems later. Inspect and remove the boot replace if torn. You should now be able to remove the axle.

Not know the year the process may be different. First pull your wheel. The remove the rotor and brake assembly. Pull the cotter pin and remove the spindle nut. The unbolt the shaft from the spindle. Release the c-clip in the transmission case and pull out the axle and replace.
