How do you disconnect a brake pushrod?

I need to disconnect the brake pushrod so that I can do repairs to my brake line and brakes.

A brake push rod is between the brake pedal lever and master cylinder. to remove the push rod the master cylinder must be removed along with the lever connection.

On rear side of brake pedal there is a cotter pin. Pull it out and tap brake pedal to get pushrod pin out. Separate brake petal from pushrod.

remove the cutter pin which is on end of pushrod, tap the brake pedal with screwdriver to seperate pushrod, now disconnect the pushrod

Look for the back side of the brake pedal,there will be cotter pin. Remove the pin and using screwdriver remove the pushrod retaining pin out. separate the pedal from pushrod.

All you need to do is just remove the bolt from the end of it and it will be diconnected.

You should have a professional do it for you. Or you can go get a manual at the auto parts store tell them the make and model of the car and year.
