How do you determine the right size for a tv for a certain room?

I do not want to get to large of a television for my family room.

I think the best way to figure out what television will fit best in your room of choice, is to decide where exactly in the room you want to place it. Once you've done that measure the size of the wall or area and then determine exactly how much space you'd like to take up on that wall.It'll fot perfectly.

The way that you determine it is by determining what the furthest most point away from the TV will be. Then get one that won't be too much to watch.

A 32 inch T.V (Widescreen) is big enough for a family room. 21-23 inches is adequate for a bedroom. 15-19 inches is alright for a room where people will be very close to the t.v, such as a kitchen or a den. Anything lower is not very functional for any other room.

Well mainly you just take a lot of measurements. Make sure to use the overall width and height not the screen size. You can also make a cardboard template.
