Douche is a French word for flood, or stream of water. It can be used to mean "to wash, rinse, spray". For most, it refers to a feminine hygene wash or cleasing aid. It also is used to describe the injection of water or medicinal fluids into any body cavities.

A douche is a mild, usually lukewarm temperature washing solution for various parts of the body, usually normally concealed or wounded parts of the body and so are linked in embarrassment value to being hurt or concealed.
