I would recommend a creamy foundation if it is an all-over problem. You can also brush loose powder foundation over the creamy foundation for more coverage.

To cover pimple spots evenly to match your pigment, simply take your liquid foundation with a dab of unscented lotion, mix it together and dab on. If the pimple spot is still not the same color, wipe off and use a more solid base (toothpaste).
