There are several products on the market that can do it, such as DVD Red Pro. They range in price from about Fifty to One Hundred dollars. However , I have found if you can get your hands on an early Eighties model Two head VCR, they usually don't pick up the protection.

VHS are not protected if you use a video capture card at your PC. The card will record and capture anything paying on your PC you just need to connect the VHS player to the card and the PC and then start recording. That way you will have what was on your VHS to you PC and then DVD

Lots of older VCRs should not have the copy protection recognition built-in so you can locate one and copy your vhs. you have to Use the a/v cables, not the coaxial cable.
