How do you cook liver?

Fry a strip of bacon, saute some chopped or sliced onion in the bacon fat. Dredge liver in seasoned flour. Fry on both sides in bacon fat until well browned.

Place your frying pan on the stove, add oil. Rinse liver, leave slightly damp. Dredge with flour salt, pepper. Once the oil is to temperature, add the floured pieces of liver to the oil and cook until there is a golden crusty coating, turn over to cook the other side. Remove from frying pan and drain on paper towels.

You can fry liver in a hot frying pan over medium high heat with a bit of butter until it has been cooked all the way through (time depends on the thickness of the liver).
