I make a wonderful tasting London Broil by marinating it for about four hours in about 1/2 a bottle of red wine. Drain excess when ready to cook and season with salt, pepper and meat tenderizer. Throw it on the grill and cook to desired doneness and slice thin. Add some sauteed onions and mushrooms for delicious side.

Put in on the grill or under the broiler for about 3 to 5 minutes each side, depending on thickness. It should be medium, pink to red in the center; otherwise it will be tough. Let the meat sit for 10 minutes after grilling to lock in the juices. Slice it across the grain.

It's a variety of foods that are broiled at the same time. Tomato, lamb chop, steak, kidney, gammon (or bacon), sausage and mushrooms. Very meaty - add bread or fries.

Look for a piece that is nice and even all the way around. Season it how you and your man like it and stick it in the broiler of grill.
