How do you check you transaxle fluid?

The fluid in the tranmisson or transaxle is basically a lubricant. Every car is different in regards to checking fluids. Some have a dipstick while others use a sight plug.

Let the car run till motor gets warm.Maybe 20 minutes should be enough. Then hold the break pedal down about 10 seconds then let off. Then open your front hood if you havent already and look for a round orange/brownish type handle.Then check to see how high the fluid is . If it is below line add more fluid.
