How do you change your brake fluid?

You really should change your brake fluid every two years or so. Use brake cleaner on the master cylinder to get dirt off. Jack the car and loosen bleeder valves, get a tubing wrench or brake bleed kit from the auto parts store. Further instructions are in the kits.

To drain out the old fluid, open the brake bleeder screws and let the fluid drain out. Then add your new fluid and bleed out the air. I should be changed it every few years.

Changing brake fluid is a rare. Keep the ignition off. Open bleeders at each wheel and let the fluid flow until it's clean. Don't let the master cylinder run empty.

You must drain it all by either removing one of the fittings at the master cylinder or using a vacum pump. you only need todo this when it is discolored
