To change the tranny fluid jack up the car while the engine is cold. Put it on jack stand the front should be higher then the back to make it easier. In the left side of the tranny you will see two bolt one 1/2 inch and one 5/8 take the lager one off and drain the tranny.

First you have to Pop the hood and remove the dipstick. Then jack the car up for about six inches. After that Unscrew the drain plug on the transmission fluid reservoir. Then, Go to the hood and put a funnel in the place where the dipstick was located. Finally, Shut the hood and record the transmission fluid change.

The transmission fluid in a Hyundai Accent should never have to be changed as it is meant to stay in the car for life. If you notice you are low or are having problems than you may have a leak or transmission failure most likely caused by other problems.
