The procedure for changing an O2 sensor is pretty much the same in all cars. You'll need an O2 Sensor socket, available at auto parts stores (~$10). Disconnect the battery. Find and screw out the old sensor, then replace. Easy does it!

There are 2 O2 sensors located in the exhaust before and after catalytic converter. This requires a special o2 tool. Unplug sensor, unscrew sensor and replace.

They do make a special line-socket for O2 sensor replacement but, most times a simple wrench will work to unscrew it from the exhaust pipe. Unplug the sensor before turning.

First you need to depressurize the line and detach the battery. Using the correct tools, all you need to do is remove the correct screws and nuts.

In order to change an O2 sensor on a Chevy Blazer you must first unplug it from its corresponding harness. Then you need to get the proper O2 sensor wrench and/or socket on the sensor and remove it but rotating it counter clockwise. Installation is the opposite of the removal.

The O2 sensor is going to be on the exhaust and there is 2 bolts holding it on. You can pull out the bolts and then you are going to need to pull the wires out on it by the clip. Then you can install the new one and you should not have a problem with that.

Well the first thing to do is locate the sensor. It should be right before the catalytic converter and there is sometimes on per side of the engine. Apply some penetrating oil and use a special o2 socket to remove it. It will usually take a bit of effort. Then install the new one it some sensor friendly anti-seize.
