How do you change the front disc brakes on a 91 Buick Lesabre?

Jack up the vehicle and support it . Remove the wheels. Remove the caliper bolts, take out the old pads compress the caliper.Then you can remove caliper mounts and the rotors to resurface or replace. Reinstall the rotor, followed by the mount. Then install the new pads in the caliper and reverse the disassembly process.

Changing brakes pads is easy. Remove the wheels. Remove both bolts from the brake caliper and secure aside. Remove pads from caliper bracket and replace with new pads. Replace caliper and bolts. Replace wheel. You're done!

Disc brakes are relatively easy. Step 1: remove the front wheels after putting the car on jack stands. Step 2: Remove the two Caliper bolts on the brake Caliper and move the Caliper to the side. Step 3: Pull off old disc and install new disc. Re-assemble.

Remove the front tires. Remove the two bolts holding the calipers onto their mounts. Remove the old rotors for replacement or machining. Push the pistons into the caliper and re-install.

Jack the front tires up and remove the tires. The caliper will be held on by two inverted allen head bolts. Remove the bolts to remove the old pads and rotor. Push the piston back into the caliper and reinstall all new parts - with lubricants where needed.
