How do you change the brake pads on an SI500?

You need to take it to a dealership and have someone certified to replace them since if you mess something up it is a hefty price to have fixed since it is a foreign car.I would highly suggest you do not try to replace the brake pads yourself as it would could be catastrophic.

You need to first remove the tire exposing the brakes. Then you need to remove the screws that are holding the brakes, brake pads, and CV joint. The brake pads lay flush against the wheel. slide them off and repace them with the new ones. Repalce all of the screws and other parts before putting the tire back.
