Caring for a calathea requires ample light, water, and moisture. Your calathea will need indirect light and daily misting. They should also be left in areas that have high humidity. Keep the room temperature no more than 70 degrees. Keep the soil moist and repot in the springtime if needed.

Calathea plants prefer moderate light out of direct sunlight, which will burn the leaves. The best place to keep a Calathea plant is in an east or west window. The plant needs high humidity and a temperature of 60 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Water frequently and check for repotting each spring.

These plants love moderate light, high humidity, and plenty of water. Water enough so that soil is moist. Try to maintain its temperature between 60-70 degrees.
