How do you care for a tarantula?

It will need a glass terrarium with a snap on screen lid. Tarantulas love crickets and you can feed them as many as they will eat and don't worry, they won't overeat. Be sure to include a bowl of water basically for humidity as they will get the water they need from eating the crickets.

They will not bite you, it is the fuzzy looking fur you have to look out for; Be gentle, and it will return the favor :)

Tarantulas dont normally bite. Just make sure you are feeding it and keeping it healthy. If you are keeping it happy then it will be less likely to get aggitated. Tarantulas rarely bite their owners even though they are large spiders, look and seem like they would be mean animals.
