Guppies are freshwater fish. A five to ten gallon tank will do for them (don't overcrowd). Check the water every week and treat the water with water conditioner as needed. As part of their diet, feed them flake food, freeze-fried foods such as brine shrimp, bloodworms, and tubifex.

Get a tank set up just for the guppies. Should have at least five gallons of water in it. Make sure it utilizes a filter system. Every week change the water. Always keep the water temperature between 75 and 84 degrees. Always use plenty of light. And most of all don't overcrowd them.
