The easiest way to find the value of any individual bond is to use the bond value calculator from TreasuryDirect. You can find it at on the TreasuryDirect web site. You enter the denomination of the bond, the serial number, and the issue date and the calculator will return the redemption value. You can also take them to your bank.

You can go to the goverment website that actually calculates the bonds total value. You just need the bond number and you'll get the value.

To calculate the value of really old savings bonds, look on a search engine for a bond calculator. There should be some that will work. Or you can go to a bank and ask if they know the current value. Either way I am sure you will be satisfied with the money
