Cubic inches are a measure of volume. If the volume is rectangular, and the sides are measured in inches, just multiply length x width x height. If the volume is spherical, and the radius of the sphere is in inches, calculate 4 x 3.14159 * radius x radius x radius.

To get the volume of something, multiply length times width times height. To convert from cubic feet to cubic inches, remember, there are 1728 cubic inches in a cubic foot, since 12*12*12=1728.
