How do you buy a peacock?

I know it's possible, because I've seen them around.

You can attend local swap meets and poultry shows. You can advertise in the local classifies. You can order eggs and chicks from various online websites. You can also buy them at live stock auctions.

You can Google "hatcheries" and then select ones that have peafowl in their catalog. You can get them from mail order this way or you can find a local breeder and inquire about how they got their birds. The birds can be pricey and you may have to order guineas with them if you buy as chicks.

You can buy hatching eggs from a breeder and incubate them your self to get some peachicks or contact a breeder to get a peacock. A peacock is male.

There are many on-line auctions that you can buy them at. If you dont want to run the risk of the shipping after buying it there are also live stock auctions that have them from time to time.
