Apply for a visa through the embassy of the country you want to visit. It is very difficult to get a work visa without the support of an employer.

First make sure you meet the requirements for a working visa from that country. The easiest method is to get a company to hire you and take care of the visa for you. You can also hire a lawyer to help you get a visa. Check with the embassy of that country to see what documentation you need.

find out where the closest visa office for the country you want to visit is located (chicago has most countries) and go in to apply. when i got my vietnam visa, i had to send passport to new york.. if you can visit the country's office and same day visa!!!
