Put the fitted sheet on the bed inside out, and pull up the excess fabric. Pin it, then sew a seam to use up the excess.

First of all you should check the the sides of the fitted sheets whether there is an elastic fitting on the sides of the sheets and if there is elastic we should untie the elastic with out making any damage to the mattress and then fit the elastic to the new sheet and fit it as it fitted early.
