How do you adjust the Westminster chimes in a Herschede electric clock?

Open the back of the clock. Amongst all the gears and wires you'll see a small hole. Run a think wire through that hole and hook it into a disc in the back behind all the gears. This is the housing plate for the drive gear. Remove it and tighten the screw. Replace everything when done.

Open the clock. Thread a wire through a small hole in the locking disc (the large disc which turns against the small idler gear) and through the hole in the movement plate and chime cylinder drive gear. Then tighten the screw on the locking disc.
