Well in general terms crabs are adjusted by switching jets along with adjusting float levels. However there is a wide spectrum of different carburetors each require different adjustments. Try and find a book or website that show how to adjust whatever type and model you have. They should have tips and info about parts.

You should take it in to get it repaired. Or go get a manual for it, tell them the make and modle of the car.
