There are two schrader-type valves, visible by their dust caps, in a car's A/C system. You can find them if you follow the A/C lines. There are two different sizes--you want to use the smaller size, as this is the low pressure port. With the engine on and A/C running, use a A/C recharger kit to refill the system.

Start by ensuring which type of freon your auto has in it already. Note that if you need to add freon then there is a freon leak somewhere and you should have it checked out. For a quick recharge, purchase a recharge bottle from a parts store and on every car there is a port you can hook the can.

They sell kit design to recharge your AC system. However Freon is not used any more. Consult a mechanic to find out about retrofitting your system and recharging it.

to add froen ,take connection on top of condenser. take a small piece of wire and insert into wire part of switch this will start your compresser pumping, now connect 134a having L stamped in cap to low pressure hose side. use hoses and gauges. follow directions on kit...

Open the hood. Find the evaporator with a nozzle. Check the nozzle cap. It's color coded. Usually it's color green. Get your freon cylinder if you have any. Plug in the freon hose to the nozzle. Open the freon cylinder valve. And, guest what? it loads by itself. Honestly, you have to bring to an aircon mechanic. Freon is regulated.
