Simply create one account with no password and you shouldn't have to log in each time. If your trying to log into a machine and do not have the password try booting into safe mode, clicking on Administrator and leave the password blank.

A quick work around for bypassing the log in screen is to boot XP up in safe mode, from there you can fully disable it using Control Panel.

Reboot into safe mode (f8). Go to the control panels, user accounts, and create a new account and give yourself administrative access. Reboot computer and relog into your new account you just created. You should have access to the system then.

If you have forgotten your password, there are a few different methods to reset it, though the simplest is to use a password reset disk as instructed when you try to login. If you do not have a login or password, then you are not authorized to login on that computer.

In order to do this, you will have to either do a full system destructive restore (Erasing everything on the hard drive and reinstalling from a partition) or have information required saved from a USB drive. If you have not created a back up profile on a USB drive and are not tech-savvy, destructive restore is your best bet.

Unless you are trying to hack into a computer or know a password, you can't bypass the log on for Windows XP (any version). If you do have an (administrator) account for the computer, you can enable automatic log in. That way, when you turn on the computer, your computer will automatically log you in.

go to control panel and select the user accounts. now create account for admin and user. set password for admin. now two accounts created in your system. one for administrator and another one for other users. administrator should log in by password. password no need for user account. now you restart your system, you should be in log on display.

If the account is yours and you know the password, you can change the user account to have no password, if the account is not yours, you're out of luck.
