Tribal tattoos are mostly made to just be neat designs to mark the body with although sometimes they make the shapes of animals or other things.

Well traditional tribal tattoos may have some type of cultural or spiritual meaning but most of the tribal flash you see are simply ornamental. Artist just take an object and make it into more stylish designs. Modern tribal tattoos rarely hold an meaning other than what it means to the person getting it.
